Elizabeth Moir knows her articulated loaders, having worked as a director of Schaffer Loaders for the past three years, alongside her son Cameron who is the business manager.
The Moir family brought the small to mid sized articulated loaders to Australia from Germany and have established a solid name for them.
Elizabeth makes sure she knows the articulated loaders back to front and finds it rewarding to hear positive feedback from her customers.
Three years ago Elizabeth undertook a driving course for the articulated loaders and holds a mining training IT carrier certificate of competency to operate an integrated tool carrier. This assists her overall knowledge of the articulated loader range from a practical point of view.
Previously she has had 16 years experience as a Director of Hardi Spraying Equipment WA.
The company imported a range of boom sprays for the wheat belt from Denmark and helped to successfully introduce the brand name to the Australia marketplace.
Elizabeth gets a buzz out of her articulated loaders, enjoys being part of a team, keeping up with marketing and planning the strategic directions for Schaffer loaders.
Elizabeth enjoys meeting machinery users and enthusiasts and supporting dealers at field days and Expos across Australia. She is passionate about machinery, particularly the features and benefits German engineering provides her customers.
