presents the Cerlic COW sensors designed to deliver reliable and representative sampling of effluent in wastewater treatment systems.
Influent water contains both soluble and particle nutrients. To get a representative sample, the sampling device needs to be able to cope with small and big particles. Sampling with lift head between 3 and 6 metres requires good velocity in the inlet hose to prevent heavier particles from settling and jeopardising the sample representation.
Cerlic COW sensors utilise the pre-vacuum of the sample chamber to lift samples rapidly when suction height exceeds three metres.
The built-in flushing feature prevents dirt and grease from building up in the sample chamber, helping to reduce manual maintenance.
