Vibration monitor with Ethernet/IP


HARDY Instruments, represented in Australia by Scale Components , has expanded the communication capabilities of the HI 3600 Machine Monitor to include Ethernet/IP. This provides greater integration capabilities in industrial monitoring applications. The communications list for vibration monitoring now includes analogue, Modbus TCP, Profibus, ControlNet, Ethernet TCP/IP, DeviceNet and OPC.


Can monitor up to 16 channels of vibration, impact and rod drop.

A company can monitor the health of their rotating and reciprocating equipment using Hardy sensors and can seamlessly bring this data into the PLC or DCS. The HI 3600 Machine Monitor is designed to comply with all API 670 safe monitoring requirements and can monitor up to 16 channels of vibration, impact and rod drop (for reciprocating compressor applications).

Users can also access the monitoring data or diagnose machine issues through local or remote access using the embedded web server of the Machine Monitor. Using the parameter mapping capability of the monitor, a user can map data or an alarm to any point on a network, a local relay, or even to an email initiation for remote notification on a mobile phone or pager.
