QTC acquired by Scale Components
QTC is a prominent supplier of service and accredited calibration of laboratory balances, precision scales, microscopes and assorted laboratory equipment predominately in Queensland, Northern NSW, Northern Territory, and the Asian and Pacific Islands.
According to Scale Components , the acquisition of QTC is in line with the overall strategy of the group and brings Calibration Services a step closer to becoming the leading supplier of calibration services as well as test and measurement equipment in Australasia.
Nick Shertock, formerly the Director of QTC, has extensive experience and expertise in this field and will join Calibration Services as a key employee to ensure that the high level of quality services provided will continue. Nick will provide support to Service Manager and his team, to ensure that current and future customer and corporate expectations are met.
As an associate company of Scale Components, Calibration Services provides quality service and calibration to customers Australia wide. The acquisition of QTC will not only enable our pricing to remain competitive, but CS will also offer sales of an extensive range of laboratory balances, precision scales, testing machines and other assorted test and measurement equipment.
In addition CS is focusing its attention to other fields of accreditation with NATA to become a single source provider for many of the customers. This will complement the existing NATA accreditation for Scales and Balances. The value to CS clients is in being offered a more cost effective solution to minimise the number of external contractors used.
