Four scale weight controller with DeviceNet

THE HI 3030 general purpose weight controller, available from Scale Components , is the latest addition to Hardy Instruments’ 3000 Series of controllers, and is used in tank farm, level weighing, batching, filling, dispensing and checkweighing applications.

It can control up to four independent scales at one time, and acts as a bridge to a PLC since one port works with all four channels over a standard DeviceNet network or optional ControlNet, Allen-Bradley RI/O or Profibus interface.

It a!so has a standard Ethernet 10/100 Base T with an embedded web server, a wireless IR port for use with Palm OS PDAs, and an RS232 printer port.

Twelve set points with independent dead bands and self-adjusting preacts are assignable to four on-board relays or external third party I/O to meet control requirements.

The HI 3030 weight controller includes Hardy Instruments' core technologies:

· Waversaver, eliminates the effects of vibration providing a stable weight display.

· C2, provides electronic calibration without the need for test weights.

· Secure Memory Module (SMM), allows manual transfer of configuration data to another instrument.

· Integrated Technician (IT) system, diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
