Dual-scale weigh scale module


HARDY Instruments, represented by Scale Components , has released the HI 1769-2WS dual-scale CompactLogix weigh scale module.


Reads and conditions weight and diagnostic data.

It is a PLC-style weight scale module optimised for use with the Allen-Bradley MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers.

It reads and conditions weight and diagnostic data supplied by strain gauge load sensors or the load cells of two independent scales. It then communicates this data over an integrated back plane to the CompactLogix or MicroLogix 1500 processor.

The HI 1769-2WS module reduces installation costs as the system needs no external standalone scale instrument with a wired communications link to the PLC. It also saves space since two modules are integrated into a single scale package.

The weighing module includes Waversaver, eliminating the effects of vibration and providing a stable weight display. C2 provides electronic calibration without the need for test weights. It also includes Integrated Technician system diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
