SAURIN manufactures a range of deaerators for removing air from viscous and normal products. These are used in dairy industry, in processing honey, tomato and cosmetics and in the chemicals industry.
Deaeration of products assists in colour retention, flavour stability and product weights. It also prevents oxidation.
The DA series deaerators is able to handle delicate product and products that contain particulate matter.
One of Saurin’s deaerators is suitable for tomato diced into 10 mm chunks. It deaerates the product without damaging the tomato chunks in the process. The unit relies on vacuum, minimising the air escape distance and the temperature for removing air.
Saurin’s units are supplied with a control systems, as well as a vacuum pump, product pump and CIP pump if required.
The deaerators are skid mounted and ready to install. The standard material of construction is SS304, but units can be constructed in other materials depending on customer requirements.
The smallest model is DE 60 which caters for 200kg/Hr of high viscosity product. The largest unit, the DE 300, caters for 90,000kg/Hr of low viscosity product, or 30,000kg/hr of high viscosity product.
