Sanderson, represented by Sanderson Australia , have strengthened their position in the multi-channel sales sector by completing two acquisitions since their listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in December 2004.
The acquisition of the UK-based companies, Megabyte (now trading as Sanderson Retail Systems) and Progressive Computer Systems (now Sanderson PCSL), adds substantial retail expertise and increases the presence of Sanderson in the multi-channel retail.
Sanderson Retail Systems are suppliers of retail management solutions covering both in-store and head office. Their Midas solution comprises a suite of back office and supply chain modules complemented by a function-rich EPOS system capable of handling all day-to-day retail needs.
Sanderson PCSL provide browser-based software solutions to retail and commercial organisations. They offer solutions for multi-branch retail communications and have a strong client base including customers such as Comet.
According to David O'Byrne, Managing Director, Sanderson Group, the acquisitions have added retail capability to their existing leadership in mail order, e-commerce, fulfilment and wholesale distribution. This gives Sanderson an understanding of the market. These acquisitions can help Sanderson to help clients to succeed in their multi-channel operations.
Sanderson Group have currently acquired Elucid from K3 Business Technology Group.
The purchase of Elucid complements the Group's existing product portfolio and reinforces the position of Sanderson as a supplier of multi-channel sales solutions.
