As the leading provider of engineered safety systems for people working at heights, Safety Anchors are committed to safety, quality, service, and performance is absolute. Safety Anchors has maintained its strong market position by offering customised solutions, and uses industry practice to support and provide a high level of excellence.
Safety Anchors’ commitment to continual improvement initiatives has resulted in a revision and evaluation of its products. This process has lead to the birth of the Safety Anchor, an ultimate source of stability and security.
Safety Anchors has introduced its enhanced range of innovative anchors. The Safety Anchor will incorporate superior energy absorbing properties, aligned with easier modes of installation. This, when coupled with an improved design, incorporates an even better valued product offering.
The connection of the eyebolt to the parent structure is made via a specifically designed fixing to facilitate timely and economical attachment to virtually any construction type. Custom designed fixings are available to suit connection to steel purlins, timber rafters, masonry or timber walls, sandwich panels and concrete.
All the Safety Anchor range complies with Australian/New Zealand Standard 1891.4:2000, and is in accordance with current code(s) of practice(s) and relevant work directives. All fixings have been individually tested in conjunction with the eyebolt, and excel in meeting all relevant Australian & New Zealand Standards. These tests have been performed on all types of standard constructions, and can therefore be certified without additional strengthening or costly modification to existing structures in almost every case.
The dual bending motions of Safety Anchors’ new, innovative Safety Anchor eyebolt (patent pending) enable it to use up superior amounts of energy, thereby reducing the forces exerted to the attachment point on the structure. Comprehensive testing has proved up to 88% energy absorption. A distinct advantage when a user considers the inherent weakness of all installed systems is the structure to which they are attached.
In addition to Safety Anchors’ anchoring products, it has a complete range of safety and access products such as horizontal lifelines, walkways, ladders and rigid rails. Safety Anchors system approach is supported by a family of products that when tailored to the specific requirements of an individual site, affords simplicity and compliance to Australian and local requirements.
