Ergonomic hopper simplifies blank loading


SWF Companies has introduced the new EH 100 "Ergo Hopper" which dramatically improves the ergonomic loading issues surrounding the SWF line of vertical tray (TF models) and bliss case (BF models) formers.

With a 3-foot loading height, machine operators and associated personnel no longer have to reach high above forming mandrels to restock corrugated blanks into the hopper and with a blank capacity of up to 750 c-flute blanks, loading time is significantly reduced.

The EH 100 can be incorporated with any new SWF vertical tray or bliss former, as well as be retrofitted to any existing SWF units out in the field. Furthermore, it has been designed in such a way that it lends itself for integration with non-SWF vertical tray and bliss formers.

Additional features on the EH 100 include steel reinforced conveyor belts, an adjustable angle incline conveyor, duel drive motors for positive blank feeding, integrated safety guard package and kwik-change crank adjustable side guides.

IN response to customer’s changing packaging requirements, SWF Companies’ CE 151 case erector has undergone a well-deserved makeover and is now called the CE 451. SWF has introduced the DP 260C combination case packer for flat and vertical case (and tray) packing of products packaged in flexible bags. Reaching speeds up to 240 bags a minute for flat packing and up to 70 bags a minute for vertical packing, the DP 260C is suitable for a variety of bagged products.

RPC erector eliminates manual set-up (13-Jan-2004)
RETURNABLE Plastic Container (RPC) setup is simplified by SWF’s CE 100P RPC erector. Able to run both full and half-size RPC style cases, the CE 100P runs at speeds up to 1200 cases per hour.
