Stockcap has released a new range of heatshrink end caps for sealing power and telecommunication cable ends.
Manufactured from cross-linked polyolefin, all Stockcap heatshrink end caps are adhesive lined to provide a strong, permanent environmental seal even on irregular cable sheaths. Stockcap can also supply unlined caps for custom orders.
The Stockcap heatshrink end caps are suitable for use with common cable types including XLPE, PVC, PILC and Rubber as well as Jelly-filled and Fibre Optic cables. Stockcap also has a complete range of valved caps for pressurised telecommunication cables.
All Stockcap heatshrink end caps are quick to install, even in confined spaces and provide good long-term resistance to weathering, moisture and dust contamination.
The Stockcap range includes caps with shrink ratios suitable for a wide range of cable diameters including 4-8mm, 8-16mm, 15-35mm, 25-47mm, 35-68mm, 45-90mm and 64-120mm.
