Packers needing urgent automation or upgrade of their lines need only wait weeks for shipping of new shrink wrapping systems from SMI Pacifica .
The recently released 20 series shrink wrappers are now being assembled at SMI’s plant in northern Italy, ready for virtual off the shelf delivery.
Designed for volumes of up to 20 packs per minute, the systems offer the proven reliability, smooth running, accuracy and intuitive control of earlier, larger SMI systems.
New series shrink wrappers are modular in construction and economies of scale.
“With these low prices, smaller manufacturers can now afford to automate their line and deliver store-friendly, shelf-ready packs, almost certainly at a lower cost than their present methods,” said SMI Pacifica manager Steve Warren.
“With a well packaged lease, savings will be noticed immediately. The machines will also find a niche helping big companies manage test market volumes or boutique lines.”
Wraparound carton and tray packers will also be available on similar delivery terms. Tray and shrink combinations are optional.
