Described as the world's most affordable automated shrinkwrappers, new LSK series machines by SMI are now being commissioned in Europe.

SMI Pacifica has used modular construction and 'need-only' engineering to produce machines that are close to half the price of their full sized models.

“For the first time, smaller manufacturers can afford the same basic SMI technology that the majors have been enjoying in Australia for fourteen years now. But the budget is within reach even for family businesses, especially those using labour-intensive methods,’ says Steve Warren of SMI Pacifica.

The first batch is now in stock for immediate shipping.

LSK systems are suitable for cans, bottles, jars and most other rigid containers including plastic or fibre.

The LSK range will also handle shelf-ready trays or pad packs shrinkwrapped in a variety of groupings. Speed can be further increased by retrofitting twin lane pack handling.

SMI Pacifica supplies cartonising, shrinkwrapping, blow moulding and related packaging machinery to Australia, NZ and SE Asia.
