Inline tray stacker
SMI shrinkwrapping or carton filling systems can stack shelf-ready trays at high speed. Depending on product size, up to four layers can be formed in one pass by the Multistack system.
It accepts trayed or sleeved products. Computer control ensures accurate synchronisation of the stacker with the rest of the packing line, including existing PLC sections. The stacker will keep pace with SMI shrinkwrappers or carton packers at rates in the order of 80 cycles a minute.
Glass, cans and PET containers can be handled by the same unit with software resetting between products. The system is aimed at packers of dairy, dessert and snack products along with bottlers and canners.
