The new Fronius Transcut 300 plasma cutter and Fronius CMT welder will be showcased by Smenco on Stand 4616 during National Manufacturing Week 2007 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, from May 22 to 25.
The Transcut 300 plasma cutter, which uses fluid instead of compressed air, features technology unique to Fronius.
The Transcut 300, weighing 14 kg, can be run from 240 volt mains or from a generator and will cut up to 10 mm steel, stainless steel and aluminium. With lower fume and noise emissions, The Transcut 300 provides a healthier way to carry out traditional metal-cutting operations.
CMT, said to set new standards in welding technology, features low heat input, so users can weld plate as thin as 0.3 mm, including aluminium-to-aluminium and coated steels-to-aluminium with almost no spatter.
Fronius is a family owned business founded in Austria in 1945. Fronius is regarded one of the leading international providers of welding systems and equipment.
Fronius’ Australian operation is represented by Smenco, with a strong team of technical sales engineers dedicated to helping customers in all aspects of welding technology.
