SMC Pneumatics has added the SRF10 fluororesin type clean room regulator to its clean room range.
Designed to control the supply pressure of de-ionised water and other chemicals, the SRF10 regulators utilise a remote pilot air supply to adjust the set pressure and, regardless of changes in inlet pressure, keep outlet pressures consistent.
The new regulators are ideal for use with products such as LV clean process chemical valves and LQ clean process fittings in applications such as food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, or any other clean environment where pressure control is required.
The unit is available in either a tube connector or integral fitting type, both types having a PFA body and a PTFE valve diaphragm and being more compact than similar products available. Both types have been designed to operate with fluid temperatures ranging from 5°C to 60°C.
Proof pressure of the regulator is 1MPa with a regulating pressure range of 0.02-0.04MPa. The maximum set pressure is 0.4MPa, with a maximum operating pressure of 0.5MPa.
All products in the SRF range are assembled and packaged in a class 100 cleanroom environment where they are ultrasonically cleaned using pure water and alcohol to ensure their integrity.
