SMC Pneumatics has released the PSE200, a four-channel pressure sensor controller that, in conjunction with the PSE530 pressure sensor, can control pressure from a number of remote locations.
The PSE200 will accept four individual pressure inlets and individually or simultaneously read the four inputs. This reduces the need for individual switches with considerable space saving.
Each channel is individually settable (open or closed) and each output will automatically trigger an alarm if the pressure input is over the preselected setting.
The PSE530 pressure sensor is constructed of stainless steel, providing for a wide variety of gas and fluid applications. The operating pressure range is from 0 to 1MPa with a maximum pressure of 2MPa. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 70°C with no condensation or frost formation.
SMC claims the fast response electrical signal between sensor and controller optimises time, eliminating pressure loss and producing a more accurate reading.
The settings on the controller are easily adjustable and the LED display features large, easy- to-read digits. SMC Pneumatics 02 9354 8222.
