Ion LED penlight from SM Safety
Ion LED penlight from SM Safety

Koehler-Brightstar has received a "Zone Zero" intrinsic Safety Rating on its new ION LED penlight, available from SM Safety . The ION produces the brightest light in its category making it the safest light for all hazardous environments.  The LED produces a bright beam of 25 lumen/405 lux at 0.9m.

Features of the ION LED penlight include:

  • Black, Orange and Green colours available in the penlight
  • The ION penlight comes complete with 3 x AAAA batteries
  • The penlight includes a pocket clip with a built in magnet so the user can go hands free
  • Deep dish parabolic reflector
  • The penlight includes an On/Off Tail Switch
  • Constructed of Super Tough Nylon
  • Attachment Methods: Pocket Clip with
  • Neodymium magnet
  • Embossed grip detail
The Ion LED penlight has achieved the following safety certifications:
  • Intrinsically Safe – Zone Zero
  • World Safety Standard:
  • IECEx Ex ia iaD IIC T4 (T 80C) Ga, Da
  • EQUIVALENT to UL Rating:
  • Class I Division I Groups A, B, C, D
