Rectangular objects can be detected on each edge down to an accuracy of 5mm while this value is 10mm for each dimension for irregularly shaped objects, fulfilling the requirements set by OIML (Organisation Internationale de Métrologie Légale or the International Organisation of Legal Metrology) and the MID (Measuring Instruments Directive).
