MURRELEKTRONIK, represented in Australia by Sick , has released the MIRO 6.2 pluggable relay and opto-coupler modules. The single-channel module is just 6.2mm wide and has a modular design which allows users to configure the number of channels that are needed. Making later additions when requirements increase is extremely simple. The bridging concept uses plug links and reduces assembly costs.
The slimline design means that the relay/opto-coupler modules can be integrated in tight spaces in a mounting rail-oriented control system. Whether it is in manufacturing, building automation or process technology, the signals that are exchanged between process peripherals and control systems must be transmitted reliably and potential-free.
The modular design of the MIRO 6.2 pluggable makes it possible to individually adapt functionality to your requirements in the switch cabinet. Relays with different switching voltages and contact materials are available. Opto-coupler modules are available for frequent switching requirements.
All the plug-in bases contain an EMC input protection circuit, a recovery and polarity reversal protection diode and an LED status indicator for providing clear operating status indication.
Plug links to the input and output terminals make wiring easier. Equivalent voltage potentials such as PLC ground and sensor supply can be combined using comb-type plug links. There is no need for laborious stripping and time-consuming loop bridges.
