Lafayette has released Nicholas manual muscle tester with high accuracy and a new ergonomic design to provide the user with accurate, objective and reliable results.
The Nicholas manual muscle tester’s three interchangeable padded stirrups enable the user to employ established protocols with efficiency and confidence while ensuring patient comfort. The interactive menus allow the user to select a wide range of options, such as, data storage, test times (1-10 seconds), and also offers the choice of high and low threshold settings (to accommodate large muscles or digits). The large, easy to read LCD screen displays all information clearly, reducing the possibility of reading errors or selecting unwanted options.

Dual measurement range, 0-300lbs. (136.1kg) or 0-50lbs; (22.6kg) - for increased sensitivity
Selectable test time from 1 second to 10 seconds - for improved intra-tester; and inter-tester reproducibility
