SES Engineering delivers range of steel, mining and rail products through process engineering division

Supplier News

Southern Engineering Services (SES Engineering ) was established in 1950. The SES Process Engineering division supplies products and equipment from a range of different manufacturers servicing the mining, rail infrastructure, steel and chemical industries.

One of these manufacturers is Xtek Incorporated, a manufacturer of a range of steel and crane industry products including geared couplings for hot, cold, section and temper mills. Xtek also produce specialist crane products such as hardened track wheels and rope drums, as well as carburised gearing for mill pinions and crane gearboxes.

SES Process Engineering also utilise a range of fixed rail stops produced by Oleo International. Oleo buffers reduce plant and machinery damage through controlled impact energy absorption. A variety of friction stops are available to stop rolling stock and trains for processing at stabling yards, terminals and sidings. Designed to increase safety in marshalling yards, workshops and terminals, these fixed and friction solutions are available now from SES Engineering.

American Sensors Corporation design and manufacture pyrometers, infrared scanners and magnetic switches for a range of applications. SES Process Engineering gives customers access to hot metal detectors, X-ray gauges and laser dopler velocimetres.
