The gearbox, power transmission supply and rebuild division of SES Engineering have an in house engineering and manufacturing team of mechanical engineers and technical tradesmen able to service, rebuild and supply all brands of gearboxes and universal drives shafts to reduce costly downtime for customers.
A 24 hour callout service with a crane capacity of 35 ton and a horizontal press capacity of 400 ton. The division is able to offer full dismantling and inspection including NDT of components, fault finding and failure analysis.
Shaft restoration, drive shaft balancing and surface coating can be performed, as well as no load testing including vibration analysis. SES offers onsite removal, reinstallation and alignment and in house manufacturing of gears.
The SES division specialises in worm and helical gearboxes, planetary gearboxes, bevel helical cooling tower gearboxes, extruder gearboxes, vertical coal pulverising mill gearboxes, constant and variable speed fluid coupling.
