DSL Packaging is currently seeking 'expressions of interest' from anyone in the honey industry who may be interested in a proposed new 640 litre Schütz Ecobulk IBC.
Considered to be a more practical sized unit for the honey market, the 640 litre Ecobulk is a smaller, more manageable size than the 1000 litre MX unit currently being used by many in the honey industry.
The 640 litre IBC is also proving popular with the Australian AGCHEM (agricultural chemical) market, where handling is sometimes easier with a smaller sized unit.
The 640 litre unit allows for easier lifting given the density of honey, but with all the same benefits of the 1000L, such as a four-way entry pallet for easy forklift use, and the Schütz/DSL collection service. DSL will consider manufacturing 640 litre units in Australia upon sufficient interest from the honey industry.
