Unitag is a Scafftag product that has been designed to be an extremely robust permanent locking holder and insert system. Unitag is designed for the identification and qualification of lifting equipment (such as chains, slings and hoists), industrial plant and valves and calibration equipment. Unitag can also be used on fall arrest systems such as harnesses, belts and lanyards.
The Unitag holder has a unique, permanent locking system, which ensures that the device can be easily fixed to all equipment. The Unitag device can be attached to your equipment using plastic, stainless steel or nylon covered galvanized wire strops that are available in differing lengths to suit your attachment requirements. The standard inserts for the Unitag are available in a variety of colours to ensure that the device is easily visible.
Once the two parts of the Unitag holder are locked together, it can only be removed by using wire cutters or pliers. This ensures that your product will be securely tagged at all times.
