Scafftag helps you to manage and communicate the changing status of your equipment in terms of safety, maintenance and identity/location to improve business performance. Our range of systems makes the latest status clearly visible, where it is needed most. This allows you and your employees to make informed decisions rather than risk making assumptions about your equipment.
Laddertag® is the original and industry leading status tagging system to help control inspections, maintenance and identification of ladders. AS/NZS 1892.5:2000 Section 3.2 states ‘Ladders should be checked frequently and maintained in good condition’. Section 3.3 states ‘A thorough ladder inspection should be made — (a) when originally purchased, received and put into service; (b) before each use; (c) after mishaps, drops and impacts; and (d) periodically’.
The basic Laddertag element is the Laddertag® holder, which connects to your ladder. When there is no inspection card inserted into the holder your workers will be able to clearly read the text on the holder: “Do not use this ladder”. Once the ladder has passed inspection the “Ladder Inspection Record” standard insert can slide into the holder signalling to your workers that the ladder is now fit for use.
The Laddertag inserts are sturdy and clearly identifiable due to their vibrant colours. This ensures that the inserts will be seen easily regardless of the tough conditions that your organisation may require Laddertag® to be utilised in.
