Realtech Australia, the now Australian-owned SAP Global Support and Technology Partner, has announced the successful completion of its assignment to implement and support SAP All-in-One for Centrex (Aust).
This has resulted in Centrex being able to greatly enhance its stock control and service responsiveness.
Centrex is a privately-owned importer and wholesaler of consumer electronic products with 35 employees. Since its inception in 2002, the company has grown 120 per cent year-over-year and annual revenue now exceeds $50 million.
However, with this growth came challenges. Centrex was previously running a combination of SOHO-level accounting software and other small-scale solutions. As a consequence, stock control was a major problem with the company making suffering value losses each quarter across its five warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.
Centrex recognised it needed a single integrated system and over a six-month period evaluated 15 alternative solutions. Centrex eventually chose Realtech Australia to implement SAP All-in-One. Among the principal reasons were Realtech Australia's professionalism, experience and responsiveness.
The new system was implemented over a five-week period with core functionality - financials, materials, sales & distribution, service, and purchasing. Following the implementation Realtech remained on board to customise the system and add new functionality.
