Ammeraal Beltech Modular has a wide variety of modular belts and slat top chains that have been successfully used in the beverage industry for more than 35 years, and which are available locally from Rydell Industrial (Belting) Co .

Ammeraal Beltech Modular has also developed new, innovative products for the beverage industry. They have top surfaces on their belts that are made for 5 point PET-bottles, can accumulation, cans conveyed upside down and more.

Furthermore, Ammeraal Beltech Modular offers the strongest side flexing conveyor belt in plastic. More details can be found in the Uni Flex SNB brochure.

A beverage application currently using Uni products is in the plastic bottling industry. The conveyor design is an accumulation table using Uni LF-M-SNB-M3 modular belting. The product being conveyed is filled with water plastic bottles (PET bottles).

The main advantages of using the Uni LF-M-SNB-M3 belt for PET bottle applications are:

  • exceptionally flat surface for transferring motion-sensitive PET bottles
  • heavy duty edges for increased wear resistance in lateral transfer applications
  • LF material matches existing chains friction requirements, ensuring consistent bottle flow and accumulation
  • relieved underside profile designed for smooth operation with nose bars and transfer rollers; and
  • open design allows for clean ability, drainage, and airflow during operation as well as maintenance.

Ammeraal beltech modular has also developed special designed chains for handling glass bottles. The Super Flex system is available in both plastic and stainless chains.

The main advantages of using the Uni Super Flex chains compared to a standard tab or bevel chain are:

  • easy to clean
  • low noise compared to traditional tab-chains
  • high speed and reduced wear
  • low friction and energy requirements
  • quick maintenance
  • no interruption of operation
  • even surface; and
  • reduced vibrations.

Beverage applications:

  • glass depalletising/palletising
  • PET and can depalletising /palletising
  • mass conveyance glass
  • mass conveyance PET plastic
  • single fill lines
  • pasteurisers/warmers
  • accumulation tables
  • packing
  • vacuum applications
  • washer infeeds; and
  • preparation of bottles/cans for filling.

Uni Super Flex TAB chains also feature:

  • easy to clean
  • low noise compared to traditional tab-chains
  • high speed and reduced wear
  • low friction and energy requirements
  • quick maintenance; and
