Rotork Australia introduces the fast acting, high modulation pneumatic K-TORK actuators representing the future of valve automation.

The versatile and modular K-TORK actuators and controls are available in both double-acting and spring-return configurations. Used to operate ball, butterfly or plug valves, and other 90-degree rotating mechanisms, the new range offers high reliability, reduced maintenance and accurate control.

The vane actuator is a 'True Rotary' actuator that does not require the conversion of a linear motion to a rotary motion, resulting in a simple, highly accurate and reliable quarter-turn pneumatic actuator.

High reliability is a key requirement for quarter-turn valves and actuators found in filtering and pumping processes. The actuators must minimise routine, preventative and emergency maintenance, while allowing simple troubleshooting if required. Accurate control and shut-off is also essential for ensuring clean drinking water and safe effluent used for irrigation as well as to replenish lakes, rivers and reservoirs. The flow control equipment must additionally be affordable while also providing ongoing savings through less downtime and lower energy consumption.

All these requirements are met efficiently by K-TORK actuators and controls.
