Rotacaster Wheel Limited has been named as a finalist in the 2010 Hunter Manufacturing Awards for their Rotatruck hand trolleys and patented multi-directional wheels.
2010 has been a successful year for Rotacaster having already been announced as finalist in the 2010 National Safe Work Awards in addition to the National Safety Council of Australia’s Safety Awards of Excellence, which will be announced on October 7th 2010 in Sydney.
Both the nominations recognise the occupational health and safety (OH&S) benefits of the Rotatruck self supporting hand trolleys and their ability to reduce strain injuries that normally occur in manual handling of goods.
The Hunter Manufacturing Awards covers entrants from the Hunter and Central Coast of NSW, and aims to promote best practices in manufacturing.
Rotacaster Wheel Limited has been nominated in the categories of ‘Safety’ for the Rotatruck self supporting hand trolleys and ‘Innovation’ for its patented multi-directional wheels.
The awards will be announced on Friday October 22nd 2010 at Wests Leagues Club in Newcastle.
