MICROREP-Joint Instruments has released the DMS 680, a universal length measuring system that can perform precise calibrations at an affordable cost.
Available from Rosebank Engineering , the DMS 680 is equipped with a built-in temperature sensor, making it suitable for working even in marginal environmental conditions, where the measuring room temperature is not perfectly controlled as is traditionally required.
The real time temperature compensation enables accurate measurements across a wide temperature range. The temperature is displayed on the PC monitor and it can also be stored in the PC if optional software is added.
The DMS 680 is supplied with a large number of accessories, and can perform the calibration of several types of hard gauges and measuring instruments.
It is built in full compliance to the Abbe's principle and with the adjustable tips, precise measurements can be taken in a short time.
This gauge comes standard with powerful gauge management and measurement software, MicroNet 2000. The user is easily guided through to perform various measurement procedures and calculations such as gauge tolerances or thread formulae.
