Ronson Gears purchased and installed a new Shigiya cylindrical grinder GPS-30B at their factory in September last.
The installation of this premium machine further validates Ronson Gears’ continuing investment in premium gearing equipment and technology.
Offering increased value for their customers, the $250k machine is capable of grinding internal and external diameters and can hold workpieces of up to 300mm in diameter and up to 1,000mm in length.
Jason Graham explains that the Shigiya cylindrical grinder is flexible, easy-to-use and environmentally friendly. Being a CNC machine it also offers great repeatability, making it suitable for one-offs to full-production runs.
By bringing this operation in-house, Ronson Gears offers a significant advantage to their customers with more control over production workflows, which ensures on-time delivery.
