RONSON Gears has been accepted as an Associate Member of Eurotrans, the European Committee of Associations of Manufacturers of Gears and Transmission Parts.
They are the first company outside of Europe to be granted membership into the prestigious association, which examines the economic and technical problems relating to the mechanical power transmission industry and protects the common interests of members internationally.
As an associate member of Eurotrans, Ronson Gears will be exposed to the major European industry players in the automotive, mining, rail, agriculture and aviation industries.
Eurotrans members meet regularly to discuss business and market issues, which includes attitudes, opinions and recommendations that manufactures should present to their local governments.
The membership is indicative of Ronson Gears' commitment to not only keeping abreast of the latest changes affecting the world's power transmission industry, but also in making a contribution to the industry in which they are involved.
"Membership is really a recognition of our level of expertise, nationally and internationally,” said Ronson's Managing Director, Gordon New.
“It recognises our commitment to ensure our clients have access to world leading technology and a premium product.”
At the invitation of Eurotrans, who have close links with the American Gear Manufactures Association of which Ronson Gears are also members, Gordon New recently addressed the 8th World Gear Summit Meeting in Hannover, Germany.
