Managing Director Gordon New led a group of mechanical design students from Melbourne University on a tour of the company’s factory recently.
The group of 12 students got a glimpse of what their future might hold as they toured the Ronson Gears facilities. The tour followed Gordon’s guest presentation at the University in September.
The students were exposed to the latest state-of-the-art technology in gear manufacturing and gained useful insights into various manufacturing processes including gear cutting, gear measuring and gear grinding.
After the tour of the facility, the students also had the opportunity to interface with Gordon on various topics. According to Gordon, some of the students were genuinely amazed at the level of technology involved in manufacturing high precision gears.
