Jaws for all chucks
SCHUNK, represented by Romheld Australia , has released chuck jaws that suit all makes of popular chucks. Each jaw has ground serrations, reducing potential damage to the base jaws and increasing stability during the clamping operation to improve overall workpiece quality.

Jaws are available for chucks including Kitagawa, SMW/Autoblok, Rohm, Berg, Howa, Forkhardt and Schunk. The Schunk chuck jaw catalogue includes all the information necessary to select to right jaws for the job.
The range of chuck jaws includes standard hard and soft jaws, claw jaws for safe clamping at high rpm, collet jaws for bar machining, specialised jaws in materials like fibreglass for high speed/low deformation, and pendulum jaws for clamping thin-walled workpieces.
An optional system is available to convert chucks into quick-jaw-change units to considerably reduce set-up times. Each base jaw is fitted with a support jaw, to which top jaws are quickly interchanged with a single integrated pressure bolt in about five seconds.
Schunk's lathe chuck range includes manual, pneumatic and hydraulic power chucks in two, three and four-jaw types with large bore and quick jaw change options. The Rota NCK range is 100% Kitagawa-compatible.
