The Ethisphere Institute has recognised Rockwell Automation as one of the ‘world’s most ethical companies’ in its 6th annual selection of the world’s most ethical companies.
The Ethisphere Institute is a leading international think-tank dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability.
Receiving the honour for the 4th time, Rockwell Automation is one among a select group of organisations that show leadership in promoting ethical business standards.
Nominations from companies in more than 100 countries and 36 industries were reviewed by Ethisphere through in-depth research and multi-step analysis. The record number of nominations and applications received this year is evidence of the award’s growing prominence as well as companies’ desire to be acknowledged for their high ethical standards.
Rockwell Automation Chairman and CEO, Keith D. Nosbusch explains that Rockwell Automation's culture of ethics, responsibility and accountability sets it apart in the industry. The company’s global commitment to responsible business practices, honesty, fairness, quality, responsiveness and integrity permeates through every level of the company across all 21,000+ employees worldwide.
In Rockwell Automation’s most recent Global Voices Employee Engagement Index, ethics-related scores were the highest of all categories and were above the available normative scores by large margins.
In addition to the recognition received from the Ethisphere Institute for its ethical business practices, Rockwell Automation was also honoured with the 2011 Wisconsin Business Ethics Award by the Society of Financial Service Professionals. The company is also a past winner of the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award and an International Torch Award Finalist.
