Rockwell Automation announces the appointment of Paul Ponticello to the role of Sales Operations & Industry Manager, South Pacific.
Paul has been working at Rockwell Automation for more than 20 years in various operational functions prior to moving into business unit general management roles. He brings deep knowledge and experience to his new role, displaying sound business acumen, as well as organisational, mentoring and coaching skills.
In his new role, Paul will drive and support the sales organisation in the areas of planning and execution, productivity and overall effectiveness. He will also have direct line responsibility for the South Pacific Industry teams that are not specifically aligned to a product or solutions business unit.
Ponticello explains that the main objective of the role is to drive continuous improvement throughout the company’s sales processes. He looks forward to improving consistency on how sales activities are carried out across the South Pacific region while working closely with the company’s sales team and channel partners.
