Rockwell Automation has added new members to their Australia and New Zealand sales team with the appointment of a new Australia and New Zealand sales director, a new Queensland state sales manager as well as a new state sales manager for Victoria and Tasmania.
The new blood in the team brings a wealth of industry experience and enthusiasm that will directly benefit end-users across the region.
David Hegarty, the new Rockwell Automation Australia and New Zealand sales director says that his most recent position with the company’s architecture and software business in Singapore has provided him with key insights that will help him in his new role.
He adds that his experience in the Asia Pacific markets has given him considerable understanding of some of Australia’s key trading partners in the region.
The Australia and New Zealand sales team comprises of six state sales managers reporting to Hegarty, covering all Australian states, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
Hegarty says that while a common business approach is in place across these regions, each state sales manager has the flexibility to tailor the model to specific local needs.
Meeting and exceeding customer expectation is the primary focus for Chris Cooney, the new Rockwell Automation Queensland state sales manager, who brings a wealth of engineering and sales experience to his new position.
His previous role as regional sales manager for another automation provider in Brisbane has given him an extremely good understanding of the Queensland market.
He adds that the experienced Rockwell Automation team along with the company’s unmatched range of automation solutions will deliver a winning combination for industry.
The new Victoria and Tasmania state sales manager, Cuong Vo benefits from a broad spectrum of experience gained with Rockwell Automation in Australia and in the UK.
His previous roles as area sales engineer, corporate account manager and food/beverage industry manager give him a key understanding of the automation market from OEMs to end-users across many industry sectors.
Having spent the last 18 months consolidating its delivery channels through authorised distributors NHP and Inaco, the Australia and New Zealand sales team’s primary focus is to reconnect the company’s customer base with the new distribution partners.
