A SEMINAR focusing on safety issues is the latest addition to Rockwell Automation Australia's hands-on seminar program. Understanding and implementing machine safeguarding kicks-off in New South Wales this month, with both regional and Sydney distributors all scheduling sessions during February and March.
Victorian Rockwell Automation distributors commence their sessions in March, with other States to follow during the remainder of 2002.
This free, half-day seminar is designed for control engineers, maintenance personnel and system designers -- among others -- who desire a fundamental understanding of the various aspects of machine guarding, including Australian Standards and risk assessment.
Hands-on sessions will familiarise participants with circuit categories and control redundancy, as well as provide an opportunity to learn about typical applications for Allen-Bradley Guardmaster safety switches, relays, cable pull switches and trapped key interlocks.
By taking this first step to a safer plant, attendees at any of these sessions can enjoy Rockwell Automation's special introductory offer: 50 percent off the list price on a first order of Allen-Bradley Guardmaster products (to the value of $2,000). Rockwell Automation 03 9896 0300.
