New range of belt conveyors available from Robotunits

In order to be able to satisfy even more application possibilities, the Tullamarine based company Robotunits has expanded upon their already broad selection of modular belt conveyors.

It is now possible to order belt conveyors from Robotunits where the belts themselves are fully guided.

This feature, which is available for all the belt conveyors from Robotunits, now offers the opportunity to integrate standard belt conveyors into an automation solution, which up to now would have demanded the use of a different type of conveyor system due to constraints on the tracking of the belt.

With applications where belt tracking could be a problem, where the belts must run in both directions or if the conveyors are short, the use of a tracking strip will eliminate any tracking issues.

A tracking strip is joined onto the underside of the belt, which in turn runs in the base extrusion T-slot and a location groove machined into the rollers.

Even with innovative solutions such as this tracking strip, the belt conveyors from Robotunits can still be shipped within two working weeks fully assembled.
