Robotic Automation will have a working display of its innovative new Motoman IA20 robot on Stand 4806 during National Manufacturing Week 2007 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, from May 22 to 25.
Winner of the International Leonardo Da Vinci Award for Innovation in Portugal last year, the Motoman IA20 is a seven-axis articulated, single-arm, 20 kg payload robot that is designed for work piece handling in confined spaces. The Motoman IA20 features a completely new technological design, where the supply cables run through the motor and transmission within the robotic arm.
The Motoman IA20 can be floor, ceiling, wall, incline or machine-mounted, and is ideal for arc welding, jigless assembly and welding, laser seam-tracking, multi-station tending, handling applications, tight installation spaces in existing production lines, and 3D vision guided bin picking.
Robotic Automation was winner of best large stand at NMW 2006, and is one of the leading suppliers of robotic systems, having installed more than 2,000 systems in Australia.
