Rittal , providers of enclosure technologies, will unveil a series of significant innovations at CeBIT Sydney designed to enable organisations to maximise the efficiency and security of their data centre operations.
Spread over 72sqm of exhibition space, Rittal will formally launch the Lampertz Efficiency Room (LER), a new generation of IT security room infrastructure.
Visitors will be able to walk through the LER and witness, in real-time, system protection against fire, water and dust and burglary risks. Independently tested and certified, the LER is customised to individual user requirements and can be delivered to organisations in less than a month.
Operating inside the LER, Rittal will be demonstrating a live data centre with their RimatriX5 system solution. RimatriX5 offers flexible, modular, and scalable IT infrastructure solutions for racks, power, cooling, security, monitoring and remote management and provide customers with significant cost savings.
Rittal will also launch two new modular safes into the Australian market. These safes provide high security benefits for mid-sized organisations protecting IT systems against fire, extinguishing water, corrosive gases and unauthorised access. While the safes can resist fire for more than 90 minutes as confirmed by independent test institutes, they also comply with the temperature and humidity requirements set within the limit values allowed by hardware manufacturers, of 70°C and 85% relative humidity for more than 30 minutes.
CeBIT is staged at Sydney’s Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre.
