Available from Rhinoflex , Series 32 DIO-SEALTM wafer style instrument isolators protect circumferential instruments, separating switches, transmitters or pressure gauges from process fluid that is difficult to deal with. Wafer style instrument isolators totally eliminate instrument corrosion and plugging.
The inside of these instrument isolators feature an elastomeric or PTFE-line sensor ring. This is the one wetted component of the wafer-style instrument isolator. The sensor ring can be supplied in numerous food grade Elastomers and PTFE lined.
The need for separate flange gaskets is removed by the presence of moulded flange sealing beads that are contained in the end faces of the sensor ring.
These wafer style DIO-SEALTM instrument isolators feature a design that enables pressure and vacuum measurement thanks to the elimination of sensor fluid leak parts. The instrument isolator’s flow through design also ensures that are no ‘Dead Zones’.
These wafer style instrument isolators can be used for numerous applications including; Pressure signal for valve flow/pressure control, protection of pump inlet/outlet, vacuum or pressure measurement and pressure drop across filter.
The typical fluids that can be handled by DIO-SEALTM instrument isolators range from candies, pet food, line slurry, FGD scrubber fluids, glues, and fibrous pastes to pulp, lubricants, salt slurries, caustics, and inks and paints.
