Rhinoflex Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves are high flow capacity pinch valves, designed, for hard-to handle fluids, especially abrasive and corrosive slurries.
The interior of Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves consists of a fabric reinforced elastomeric sleeve, which is the only wetted component of the valve. Two opposing gear-driven cams, contained in a flanged split vinylester-fiberglass body act on the Diaphragm Spool, providing flow control over the entire 90 degrees of valve stem travel.
Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves show negligible pressure drop in the open position and bubble-tight closure even around solids in the closed position. There is a bubble tight closure even on solids.
Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves can be used for on-off or flow control applications. The field replaceable sleeve makes Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves and simple to use and maintain.
Series 22, quarter turn pinch valves have face-to-face dimensions that conform to ANSI B16.10, Class 150, and flange dimensions that comply with ANSI B16.5, Class 150.
