Rhinoflex Pinch Valves offer high quality sleeves that are used in the pinch valve. These sleeves are the heart of the valve, and the only part to come into contact with the flow media.
Each and every sleeve is manufactured with a separate recipe. These are mandrel built, with layers of elastomers and plies of reinforcement, depending on the application and the pressure rating of the sleeve. All sleeves have a 4:1 safety factor, which ensures high burst pressure ratings.
Rhinoflex Pinch Valves have sleeves of different types, to suit standard ’On-Off’ applications; thicker wall heavy duty sleeves for severe service applications like mineral processing slurry and tailings, and variable orifice sleeves and conical sleeves for control valves and modulation applications.
All sleeves can be made with flanged end types and beaded end, and can suit all drilling patterns, AS2129 TABLE D or E, ANSI and DIN. These sleeves are widely used in the most demanding applications and have been tried and tested over the years.
Sleeve Elastomers include:
- Pure Gum Rubber
- EPDM
- Nitrile
- ChloroSulfonated Polyethylene
- Chloroprene
- Butyl
- White Odourless and Tasteless FDA Food Grade Rubber
- Fluoro Carbon (Viton)
- SBR
Other configurations of elastomers are available for rare and demanding applications.
