The global engineering technologies company, Renishaw will be exhibiting its gauging and additive manufacturing (3D printing) products for the first time at Plastic Design & Moulding 2013 at the Telford International Centre in Telford, UK in June this year.
Renishaw will be showcasing Equator, a lightweight, fast and highly repeatable gauge that operators can use with ‘push-button' simplicity. Equator's innovative flexible gauging technology is based on the comparison of production parts to a reference master part, which can greatly increase throughput and reduce scrap rates at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent custom gauging system.
Equator gauges can be used for part or full inspection of parts on the shop floor, and can switch between parts in seconds, which makes them perfect for flexible manufacturing processes or accepting parts from multiple machines.
Renishaw's additive manufacturing systems, which utilise a pioneering additive manufacturing process capable of producing fully dense metal parts direct from 3D CAD using a high-powered fibre laser will also be displayed.
Renishaw technologies can be viewed on Stand B039 at the Plastic Design & Moulding 2013 show from 18 to 19 June.
Renishaw Oceania represents the Renishaw Group in Australia.
