Hannay F4000 compact fire reels from Reel Tech come in either direct crank rewind or chain and sprocket drive powered models. The drive powered models can be driven by electric, hydraulic or compressed air motors.
A powered rewind with comet brake is supplied as standard and the direct crank rewind, which is removable, is supplied with a cam-lock brake. The design of these fire reels also incorporates a standard inlet 90 degree ball bearing swivel joint with 1 inch female NPT threads and standard outlet 1 inch male NST threads. Other sizes and threads are available on request.
The standard inlet, outlet riser and hub assembly are made from steel, although they are also available in stainless steel if required. Rollers and roller mounting brackets do not come with the fire reels as standard but are classified as accessories.
These reels can handle pressure to 1000 psi and temperatures ranging from -51 to +121 degrees celsius. The client also has the option of consulting the factory if their requirements do not meet with these particular pressures and temperatures as other capacities may be able to be factory installed.
Hannay has consistently serviced the needs of the fire fighting industry and assures their clients that there is no draining, stacking or dragging with their fire reels. This enables fire fighters consistent quick attack and fast pickup when using their equipment.
