Vought Engineering Services will display its recently released Highlander shuttle car with a patented Ergo Pod cab on Stand 5220 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7.
The Ergo Pod provides substantial advantages in ergonomics and efficiency, and can be retrofitted into existing shuttle cars as an add-on item.
The ErgoPod has the potential to revolutionise the operator experience on existing shuttle cars.
Vought Engineering Services commenced in Wallerawang (NSW) in 2000 and rebuilds, services and hires mining machinery, including shuttle cars, miners and breaker feeders.
Vought also supplies custom products to underground mining clients, including mine trailers, pump tanks, cable and pipe hanging brackets.
It recently established Highlander Engineering in the Hunter Valley to build and overhaul mining machinery.
