Victron Energy BV will introduce its power solutions for stand-alone, standby and back-up power systems to Australia on Stand B1070 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, from Reed Exhibitions  to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.

The unique Phoenix MultiPlus inverter/charger will be showcased. It has a powerful true sine wave inverter; a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive charge technology; a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single enclosure; and a compact robust housing.

Unique advanced features include UPS functionality (the inverter takes over within 20 milliseconds of a power failure), power control (it takes AC load into account when charging the batteries), power assist (the inverter can supplement a generator for peak loads), the ability to operate up to six units in parallel for higher output, and three-phase output (up to 6 sets of three units can be parallel connected for a huge 45 kW/54 kVA inverter and 1260 A charger).

Victron Energy will also display its inverter, battery charger, DC/DC converter, battery isolator, AC transfer switch and battery monitor product ranges.

Victron Energy was established in the Netherlands in 1975, initially serving the marine industry. It now serves many other market segments, and has sales offices in America, Europe and Australia. It prides itself on its record for technical innovation, reliability, and build quality.
