Tamec Services will highlight its conveyor idler roll assembly on Stand 2020 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.
The conveyor idler roll assembly allows all idler rolls to simultaneously move away from a conveyor belt without the need for lifting equipment.
All idler rolls can be removed from a walkway on either side of the belt, with no need to enter the hazardous area of the conveyor frame structure.
No special tools are required, and the simplicity of the task of changing the idlers is such that it is a one-man operation, with a minimum amount of training required.
OH&S risks are significantly reduced, and the belt can remain in operation while the idler is changed.
The conveyor idler roll assembly can be retrofitted to many existing conveyor belts.
